PROJECT

Quivalon is creating a multimedia, modern-day retelling of the Robin Hood legend, set in a parallel world where Robyn is female, magic exists, and the world has already suffered the effects of advanced climate change. At the centre is a TV series, around which the story world will be developed through podcasts, novels, short films, and a wiki site.

At present, this is a crowdfunded, collaborative project, with the aim of creating awareness and growing the project to attract interest from production companies who can help us take our vision further. Work by all members of the Quivalon team is done on a deferred-payment basis, meaning that pay is not guaranteed unless we secure enough funding. We are looking for people who believe in this project and want to use it as an opportunity to sharpen their skills and learn new ones.  You’ll be involved from the start, and will have the opportunity to help create this new world from scratch!

Applicants for all positions are encouraged to explore WorldofHOOD.com to understand the story and scope of Quivalon’s efforts before applying.

REQUIRED SKILL SET

We are currently looking for illustrators who can help us out with the following:

  • Graphics that we can use for marketing purposes and display on our website and social media accounts.
  • Character and environmental images for use on a second, more informational website worldofhood.com, which will comprise detailed descriptions of the story world and characters.
  • Images to portray our world clearly for use in the funding campaign.

For both websites, graphics should be able to survive being scanned, pixelated and resized to fit the specific demands of the page.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Candidates should display virtual graphic design skills and/or the physical skills of painting, sketching, charcoal drawing, etc. You will need to submit a short description (50 words) of your aesthetic choices for the world.

You will work remote and be required to work to deadlines which we will set together. We use Discord to stay in touch and have meetings. This is an ongoing role, hours depending on your availability.
